Filming the Commercial

When we first got to class, I was worried that our props wouldn't be here. Luckily, Kyndell brought the Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee prepackaged bottle. I also made sure that Camila had the school spirit shirt for the shots. After the teacher went over a quick review for everything for the day, we got our equipment and headed out to shoot our commercial. There was a bit of confusion while we were still in the classroom trying to get the camera, tripod, and filling pass. We found that the screen on the camera was cracked but the teacher said it was fine. Then we found that the tripod was kind of broken, but she said that was fine too. On our way out of the door we all agreed that we would follow the storyboard exactly. Of course that didn't end up happening,
When we got outside, we forgot where our first scene was supposed to be shot out. After checking the storyboard paper, we headed over to the senior patio for filming. When we got over there, we has many other groups filming in the same place, I thought that this must have been a popular place to film. It took us awhile to set up everything to shoot our first scene. We had to practice the scene like eight times before shooting. While I was shooting the first few scenes, we kept deciding to change it. We had to shoot first based on the storyboard then shoot how we thought it would be better. Kyndell was the one who wanted to change it, and since it's our first commercial, we allowed her to. On our way to shoot at the other location, my teammates decided that it would be good if I was in front of the camera, in the scenes, than behind.
Since I had to be in the scenes, instead of behind the camera, it stressed me our not knowing how I looked and how it was being shot. It took us awhile to set up for these scenes too. We had to change shirts so I would be wearing a school spirit shirt. I had to borrow a backpack to wear. And we had to spend time deciding how the scenes were going to be shot since we were changing it all. When we got to the location, we decided that what was on our storyboard wasn't going to work so we knew that we had to change it anyway. We took many shots of the same scene incase we messed up or didn't like it one way. We, Kyndell and I kept messing up when we were shooting, but we eventually got it down. After we finished shooting, and got all the footage that we needed, we heading but up to the class room to dump all of our work. After we dumped all of our work, we still had time and we decided to watch our scenes.
